Confidentiality and protecting the privacy of personal information of our clients and other individuals in controlled by Provincial Legislation, Law Society Rules and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Protecting this personal and private information is important to Johnston & Company and we are committed to meeting the privacy standards that have been established. As part of our efforts to meet these standards, Johnston & Company has adopted this Privacy Policy to ensure that any individual's personal information within our control is protected by appropriate means. The disclosure of personal information by us is controlled through the use of contracts with service providers and other agreements and arrangements. In addition, internal policies and procedures have been adopted and our staff has been informed and trained with respect to the treatment of private personal information and the obligations and requirements of PIPEDA and other rules and regulations.
