The firm of Johnston & Company has now been serving the Parkland Region for 80 years and is one of the largest firms in rural Manitoba. We have branch offices throughout the region, from Manitoba's great lakes on the east to the Saskatchewan border on the west; and from the Riding Mountains on the south to the Porcupine Mountains. Johnston & Company offers a full range of legal services from matters of individual personal concerns, both civil and criminal, including real estate, business and estate matters to more complex corporate and commercial transactions. In order to provide this wide range of services, the firm has adopted a degree of specialization which allows the firms's resources to focus more efficiently on the individual client's needs in the most cost effective manner. While the members of the firm generally practice within the main departmental divisions of Real Estate, Estates, Corporate & Commercial and Civil & Criminal Litigation including Family Law, there is often overlap in individual situations wherever appropriate. The five lawyers in the firm and a support staff of eleven work in a modern environment utilizing computerized legal research, networked word processing, accounting and administrative functions which allows access to all public governmental databases and registries. Our branch office locations in Roblin, Grandview, Gilbert Plains, Ste. Rose and McCreary allow us to bring all of these services closer to our clients throughout the Parkland Region.
